Drop one or several — the tool figures out which sport each is, and combines multiple quarters
of the same sport (AKC raw files cover one quarter each, so a Jan–Jun report needs both the
1Q and 2Q files). Your files stay on your computer.
How these rankings are calculated
Obedience & Rally — per class, a dog must have at least 3 qualifying legs (enough to earn the title); it's then ranked by the average of its 3 highest scores in that class. Classes keep A and B separate. Placements are shown but don't add points.
Rally qualifying scores: in rally, the special-placement rows S1/S2/S3 (the second trial of a dual-trial day) count as additional qualifying scores — club rule per Polly Mumma, Sept 2026. Award rows (HTQ/HIGHCM/HCS/HTQS) never count: their score fields are combined totals, not run scores. Obedience does not count S-rows.
Rally — High Combined (Adv B + Exc B) & High Triple (+ Master): per day (event + date), the dog's qualifying scores in each class are combined — on a dual-trial day with two scores per class, the best pairs with the best and the 2nd with the 2nd, giving two combined scores; ranked by the average of the top 3 combined scores (minimum 3 to list).
Obedience — Combined Open B/Utility: per trial, the dog's best Open B score plus its best Utility (A or B) score; ranked by the average of the top 5 trial totals (minimum 3 trials to list). This is the club's published combined-award rule.
Quarters: AKC raw exports are per-quarter windows, not year-to-date — drop every quarter's file for the period you want (e.g. 1Q + 2Q for Jan–Jun); same-sport files are concatenated before computing.
Agility — class awards (Novice / Open / Excellent A): average of the dog's 3 best run scores.
Agility — ESS of the Year: with at least 10 Double-Qs in Excellent B, ranked by the average speed (YPS) of the 10 fastest QQs. A QQ = qualifying in both Standard & Jumpers the same day; each QQ's speed = the mean of those two runs (YPS = course distance ÷ dog time).
Membership: an owner marked * matched the ESSFTA membership directory. Matching is name-based and approximate in this demo — verify before relying on it.
These formulas reproduced the published Q1 2026 rankings to the decimal, and the Q2 2026 (Jan–Jun) rally card 86/90 exact — every remaining difference is a documented card-side question. Source = AKC Quarterly Companion-Events Report.
